TWV MEDIA

Social media management

Your channels, run by one senior person who owns them.

We plan it, make it, publish it, reply to the people who get in touch and tell you what it did. No content mill, no long contract, no junior learning on your brand.

The person on the call is the person who would run your accounts.

A note from us: nobody has ever come to us because they were not posting enough. They come because the posting stopped meaning anything. So we start with what the account is actually for, and then we make every post earn its place. Decide first, post second. Give us the first month and you will know exactly what your channels are meant to do.

Where we work

Instagram
TikTok
LinkedIn
Facebook
YouTube
Pinterest
X
Meta Ads

Chosen on where your customers already are, not on where everyone else is posting.

Where we come in

Three versions of the same phone call

They arrive in different words and they are usually the same problem underneath.

The account is busy and the business cannot feel it

Five posts a week, respectable likes, and not one person in the pipeline who can be traced back to any of it. The channel is being fed rather than used, and nobody has stopped to ask what it is supposed to produce.

The most public thing about the company belongs to the newest person in it

It happens everywhere and it is nobody's fault. Social lands on whoever is youngest, on top of their actual job, with no brief and no cover when they are on holiday. It shows in the work and it is unfair on them.

You bought social media and received a content calendar

Thirty squares in a spreadsheet, a national day for every one of them, and almost nothing about what you sell or who buys it. Volume is easy to deliver and easy to invoice. It is not the same as management.

What we run

Six jobs, and we do all six ourselves

Most clients take the lot. Some take two or three because they already have the rest covered in-house, and that is a perfectly sensible way to buy it.

01Strategy and audit

We go through what you have, what the competition is doing and what your audience actually responds to, then decide which channels deserve your time. Sometimes that means dropping one. A dead account nobody has posted on since 2023 does more harm than no account at all.

02Content and production

Posts, reels, shorts, carousels and stories, written and made to your tone of voice rather than to a template. We direct what needs shooting, work with what you already have, and build a small library you can reuse instead of starting from nothing every Monday.

03Community management

Comments, messages, mentions and reviews, answered in your voice and within the day. This is the part agencies quietly skip, and it is the part that turns a follower into an enquiry. Anything that needs a real answer from you gets passed straight over.

04Paid social

Meta, LinkedIn, TikTok and Pinterest, built as campaigns with a job to do rather than boosted posts. Tight audiences, proper testing, and a budget that moves towards whatever is working. The account stays in your name and on your card.

05Creators and user content

Where it fits the brand, we find the right creators, brief them properly and handle the contracting. Small and relevant beats large and borrowed almost every time. We will also tell you when a creator campaign is the wrong answer for your market.

06Reporting a board can read

One page a month in plain English: what we did, what it moved, what we are changing and what we want from you. No forty-slide deck, no screenshot of a dashboard you already have access to.

We run our own channels the same way, including the in-house ventures such as TWV Store and TWV Sport, so the approach has been paid for with our money before it is paid for with yours.

AI and social

Used where it saves hours, ignored where it costs trust

AI is very good at the middle of the job and poor at the ends of it. It will not decide what your brand should stand for and it should never be the thing that answers a complaint. In between those two, it takes a great deal of grind out of the week, which is why our costs are lower than they were three years ago.

How we use AI across the agency
  • One shoot, a month of assets

A single afternoon of filming gets cut, captioned, reframed for each platform and scheduled. The expensive part is the idea and the camera, and neither of those is automated.

  • First drafts, never final ones

Captions and variants start in a model trained on your tone of voice, then a person rewrites them. If a post reads like it came out of a machine, it does not go out.

  • Listening at a scale humans cannot

Every comment, mention and review sorted by sentiment and urgency each morning, so the ones that matter reach a person quickly instead of sitting unread for a week.

  • Nothing reaches a customer unread

A named human reviews anything published or sent. In regulated sectors that step is written into the process and documented, and in every other sector it is what keeps the quality up.

How it runs

The first month, and then every month after it

The first four weeks look different from the rest, because most of the value sits in the decisions rather than the posting.

Week one: we take it apart

Access, analytics, competitors and your last six months of posts. We come back with what to keep, what to stop and which channels are worth the money.

Week two: the plan and the first batch

One page covering the angle, the pillars, the posting rhythm and what each channel is for. Then the first fortnight of content, made and approved by you.

Weeks three onwards: we run it

Publishing, replying, watching what performs and moving next week towards it. You see everything in advance and can veto anything, though most clients stop looking by month two.

Month end: the review

One page, twenty minutes, in plain English. What worked, what we are dropping, what we need from you, and whether the money is better spent somewhere else next month.

Three ways to buy it

Monthly is the common one, but it is not always the right one, and we will say so on the call.

A day on your account

An audit and a working session for teams who want to keep running social themselves.

  • Half or full day, on site or remote
  • Channel audit and a written plan
  • Tone of voice and posting rhythm
  • Yours to run in-house afterwards
Book a day

A launch or a campaign

A fixed run with a start and a finish: an opening, a product drop, a rebrand or a season.

  • Scoped and quoted on one page
  • Creative, paid and community together
  • Daily cover for the busy period
  • Handover and training at the end
Scope a campaign

Everything is quoted before anything starts, so you see the scope and the number on one page and decide from there. Ad budget is separate and stays on your own card, where you can see it.

What we measure

Followers are the easiest number to grow and the least useful one to own

Anyone can buy a following. It takes about a fortnight and roughly forty pounds, and it will do nothing for you except make the engagement rate look terrible for the next two years.

So we report on the things that connect to money. Growth still gets tracked, because it does matter over a year, but it sits at the bottom of the page where it belongs rather than at the top where it flatters everybody.

A printed performance report on a desk beside a phone showing a social profile
If the only thing that went up last month was the follower count, we have not done our job and we will say so in the review.
  • Enquiries, bookings and sales that started on a social channel
  • Saves and shares, which predict reach better than likes ever have
  • Messages and comments that turned into a conversation
  • Cost per enquiry from paid, tracked against the same number elsewhere
  • Return visits and branded search, because social feeds both
  • Which posts did the work, so next month leans towards them
  • Audience growth, reported honestly and kept in proportion

Before you ask

The questions that come up on every first social call

Who owns the accounts and the content?

You do, throughout. The accounts stay in your name, the ad accounts stay on your billing, and every file we make is handed over in a folder you control. If we part company you keep the lot, including the plan, the templates and the content library. Nothing we build should be hard to walk away from.

Is this the same as social media marketing?

No, and the difference matters when you are deciding what to buy. Management is the running of your own channels: planning, making, publishing, replying and reporting. Marketing is the reach and the revenue: paid campaigns, creative testing and creators, aimed at people who have never heard of you. Most clients want both eventually, and there is a full explanation on the social media marketing page.

How often will you post?

As often as we can post something worth reading, which for most businesses is three or four times a week per channel rather than daily. We would rather give you nine strong posts a month than thirty forgettable ones. If a competitor is posting daily and it is working for them, we will look at why before copying it.

Do we have to be on TikTok?

No. Plenty of businesses have no reason to be there and we will tell you if yours is one of them. The reverse also happens: companies who are certain their customers are not on TikTok, when the data says otherwise. The channel list comes out of the audit, not out of fashion.

Does someone from our team have to appear on camera?

It helps enormously and it is not compulsory. Faces outperform logos on almost every platform, so if anyone is willing we will make it as painless as possible and shoot a month in one afternoon. If nobody is willing, we build the content around product, place, process and customers instead.

Do you handle paid as well as organic?

Yes, and we prefer to run them together. Organic tells you which ideas people actually respond to, and paid puts money behind the ones that already proved themselves. Running them in separate places, or with separate agencies, wastes most of that advantage.

How long before it does anything?

Community management and paid can move within weeks. Organic reach on a neglected account usually takes two to three months before the trend is clear, and anyone promising faster is either lucky or guessing. We agree at the start what we expect to see by day ninety, and we review it against that honestly.

What does it cost?

It depends on the number of channels, how much content is being made and whether paid is included, so we quote it after the first call rather than putting a package price on a website. You get the scope and the number on one page before anything starts, and it does not change without you agreeing to it.
