10,001 Nights takes place in an Arabian palace. Behind the reels players will see one of its windows looking out onto a dark night. On either side the reels are surrounded by elegant drapes and burning lamps, as well as candleabras. The frame around the reels includes gold plated corners.
When it comes to the symbols on the reels, even the low value playing card symbols are edged in gold. Other symbols include the Sultan, a pair of curly toed genie shoes, a tiger, spice jar, and camel. While three of the Sultan on the reels at once gets players a cash prize, it takes four of any other symbol on the reels at once to help players win cash.
The wild symbol is represented by a beautiful masked woman. The scatter symbol is a temple covered by the words ‘Destiny Spins.” There is also a lamp symbol that can trigger one of the bonus features.
Bonus Features
Anytime the reels are spun the lamp symbol has the potential to appear. Along the top of the reels sit four jars, one for each of the lamps. Filling the first jar triggers the first bonus, while filling the second jar triggers the second bonus, etc.
The bonus is a four step process. Stage one is triggered when players have accumulated six lamps. They then get to play the Imperial Spin feature. When this happens, low paying symbols are taken off the reels to make room for the more valuable symbols.
Stage two isn’t triggered until seven more lamps have been collected, after colleting six of them. This activates the Random Wilds feature. When this happens the game randomly adds wilds to the reels.
Stage three is triggered when players collect an additional eight lamps. They then get to play the Multi-Pick feature. When this happens players are shown three cards on the screen. The card players choose determines the value of the multiplier they get. That mutliplier is used for the next amount a player wins.
Stage four is the last of the bonuses, and is unlocked if players accumuluate an additional nine lamps. This triggers the Mega Wilds feature, which takes at least one reel and transforms all the symbols on it into wilds.
Players also have free spins to look forward to. Getting three of the Destiny Spin symbols gets players eight free pins, four gets them 10 free spins and five gets them 12 free spins. Extra scatters on the reels triggers extra free spins.
